Kimberly Claudette Frieder, MBA, MSEd, PMP, CDP received her Masters in Business from Barry University and her Masters in Instructional Design from Capella University. She works for Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Technology Specialist in Louisville, Kentucky and is an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix.

An environmentalist and educator, she lives on 147 acres in Southern Indiana. Trash Tales marks her introduction into the adventures of Li Lung, a young reader series dedicated to presevration and conservation of earth's resources.

Big Heart is the logger head turtle living within the cave.Her tales of ocean trash and the ways of turtlles, help Li Lung and Mr. Bandana as they set out on their journey.

Mr. Bandana is the courageous and inquisitive Banded Coral Shrimp that comes knocking at the cave portal in hopes that Li Lung will help clean up ocean trash smothering his home.
